GPC VOICEMAIL - AVAYA MODULAR MESSAGING System
Welcome to our new updated website - which gives you all the information you need to know about our new GPC Voicemail system. The new GPC Voicemail system (Avaya Modular Messaging) system is very much like our old Octel system - with much of the telephone navigation remaining the same.
Modular Messaging gives you the ability to communicate effectively
with one person or many from any touchtone telephone 24-hours a
day. The faster you become familiar with Modular Messaging, the
sooner you can put it to work for you! Click

Special Section Regarding the conversion
We just coverted from the OLD Call Pilot voicemail system to the new Modular Messaging Voicemail system. This occurred on December 3rd, 2006.
The voicemail system is called "Modular Messaging". The Modular Messaging system requires an Internet browser (such as Microsoft Internet explorer) to configure certain advanced options. The feature to configure your mailbox is called "subscriber options".
You cannot transfer voicemails between the old and the new systems.
The 877-877-8761 is the only number that accesses the OLD CALLPILOT Sysstem. The Callpilot system will be taken offline on December 17th, 2006. This is a special conversion number that will be deactivated on DEcember 17th, 2006.
If you have any questions, please contact us via one of the support avenues identified below.
Some basic features you may find helpful.
FIND ME - This feature only works for people who have DID (direct Inward Dial) numbers - such as the GPC Employees in the Metro Atlanta area who have desk phones. This feature does NOT work for folks who use the 800 number as their primary access number.
CALL ME - (formerly known as OUTCALL NOTIFICATION) - this feature has the voicemail system call you and attempt to deliver your voicemail to your cell phone or another predefined number.
NOTIFY ME - This feature sends you an email with the appropriate caller ID information so you know who has called you.
Remember, if you have any questions or problems with your new mailbox, please contact us using one of the designated numbers below.
Feature Changes and additions
There are a few differences and some new features. In order to configure some of the Advanced options (such as Call Me, Notify Me and Find Me), you will need access to the internet.
First, there are some common terms or concepts we want you to be familiar with:
TUI - Telephone User Interface - This term applies to commands entered using the keypad of the telephone
|
Web Subscriber Options - This is the internet webpage used to customize your voicemail box. Most features regarding the sending, receiving and listening of voicemails are handled thru the telephone user interface (TUI) but advanced features such as Call Me (outcall notification),
Find Me, Notify Me, Groups Lists etc. are all configured using the WEB subscriber options. Your voicemail box is your 7 digit mailbox number. Your password is the same one you use when using the keypad. Click click here to access the websubscriber options trifold.
|
Messaging Web Client - This web interface allows you to view, listen, compose, send and manage your voicemails and faxes using a browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. Your voicemail box is your 7 digit voice mailbox number. Your password is the same one you use when using the keypad.
|
| REMEMBER: at any time you can contact the help desk and we'll be happy to do any customization needed or answer any questions that you have. |
